Indian Manufacturer of Ductile Iron Pipes
Truform manufactures Flanged Ductile Iron pipes and Flanged Ductile Iron Puddle Pipes with Socket and Spigot.
Flanged ductile iron pipe is Truform’s specialty. These pipes can withstand high tension and compression with very limited degree of shear and bending. These pipes are produced in several versions in terms of size and pressure rating.
Our production plant is located in central India and has an excellent infrastructure connection via Indian rail, road infrastructure and airport. As a wholesaler and supplier, we are able to supply customers with products in accordance with current production or produce them, on request, in accordance with the indicated specification.
Truform’s fabricates these flanged ductile Iron pipes using two types of flanging technology as explained below.
A) By way of screwing of DI pipe – threaded flange DI Pipe
Crediting to Truform’s knowledge and experience in screw flange technology, the flanges can be tightened or bolted on both sides of ductile iron pipes. In this way, the pipes can easily be joined to act in a similar way to socket and spigot pipes.
B) By way of Welding of DI Pipe – welded flange DI Pipe
Using Hot Shrink Fit technology, Truform also able to produce welded Flange ductile iron pipes. In this case flanges are raised by welding on either side of ductile iron spun Pipes. Such technology allows to meet specific application needs.

Notes:
- Ductile iron pipes are supplied with a default specification in accordance with national / international standards and application requirements.
- Our company is able to adapt to customer requirements and provide the products customer’s specification.
- Ductile iron pipes are supplied as standard with an internal OPC cement mortar cladding and an outer zinc coating, followed by a bituminous coating.
- We use blue epoxy resin for ductile iron pipes for drinking water, black or red for ductile iron pipes for sewage, waste water or fluids transmission.
- We can also provide additional special internal or external coatings or bare ductile iron pipes according to customer requirements.

Potable Water & Sewage Water (DI) Ductile Iron Pipes
Truform is an Indian manufacturer of fabricated flanged DI Pipes for potable (drinking) water and Sewage (dirty water).
- Drinking Water type: Specification for potable water is IS8329 equivalent to BSEN 545 with Blue Epoxy coating
- Waste water type : Specification for potable water is IS8329 equivalent to BSEN 598 with Red / Black Epoxy coating.
The existing range of Truform flange pipes can be equipped with special coatings and linings in accordance with environmental and geological requirements.
Truform’s specialty are ductile iron flange pipes, which belong to rigid connection types.
Manufacturing of anchor or flexible joint types as well as socket & spigot DI pipes can be facilitated as offshore manufacturing for large scale regular production.

- Vertical Pipe Lines: for overhead Tanks / Elevated Service Reservoirs (ESR’S)
- Disengagement Requirements:
- Application where pipelines are disengaged / dismantled for cleaning such as in water treatment plants for water, Effluent, Sewage and pump houses.
- Temporary installations where pipelines are transferred from one location to other requires Flange DI Pipes such as temporary pipelines for De-Watering mines or in heavily inundated areas
